Borneo is a very simple and lightweight web browser, based on Qt framework (C++ and Qt4) and intended to join in KDE desktop in the future. Includes Do.Start, a quickstart page written in HTML (thanks to Matthew Gadd ~darkotter360 ) and uses DuckDuckGo as default search engine.
This is a little experiment to me, to learn basic coding in C++/Qt (I'm a rookie).
Really I'm a designer (Caledonia for KDE - [link]), but if you like this concept of web browser and you want to contribute to improve, please, contact me.

Thank you, but, the project is now "sleeping". I haven't enought knowlegde about coding, and I can't continue more than this. I'm designer, not developer...
By the way, I'm in other projects, and my time for this not exist actually. It's sad for me, I love this design and proposal for a Qt web browser, but that's the situation.
I hope continue this in the future with other developer who knows much more than me about Qt and C++.
Have you ever consider to help the guy in rekonq? They have a good browser, but the ui is nowhere near to yours so the mixture of the 2 project would probably make a super cool qt browser!
I think that Rekonq is really cool in many things, and the desingn is enought cool and actual. But Rekonq, with the pro-KDE philosophy (use many things of this, kparts, etc) is difficult simplify more the UI.
My idea with Borneo is supported in another philosophy: a really minimalistic browser, simple, with the basic tools. Comfortable, cool, but simple.
The UI, is most cases, shall be "hug" the real functions. And I consider that Rekonq is more complete. But I'm opened to help if people and Rekonq team thinks that is a good idea.
